Retardism, also known as its clipping Retardation is a serious developmental disorder characterized by subaverage IQ (under 70), as well as difficulties with adaptive behavior in the Social, Practical and Conceptual areas. In order to be officially diagnosed one must manifest the symptoms before the age of 18. Obvious signs include difficulties with thinking skills, very poor grades, very little understanding of the world despite the lack of obvious confusion, very immature behavior and sometimes epilepsy, although not necessarily a symptom of intellectual deficiency.

Most intellectual disorders are syndromic and related to a genetic or inborn metabolic disorder, such as Down's syndrome or Cretinism, the other cases of Intellectual deficiencies are referred to as non-syndromic intellectual disability.

They are the only other people mocked on the internet along with SJW's. They tend to form strong interests around GoAnimate and join the Caillou Gets Grounded community, hate on children's cartoons such as Dora, or in contrast show a strong attachment to baby shows such as caillou. They also populate a quarter of DeviantArt, the typical example of a specimen is rhiannapiano300. A rumor says that CWC aka Christian Westlon Chandler or Chris Chan also has a moderate form of intellectual disability.

Those who are intellectually deficient are usually the worst at creating memes, they tend to include "(character) gets angry at (object or character)" in a repetitive manner as if they were a machine. Some of the intellectually disabled also have Autism which may worsen their symptoms and behaviors. Most of those with the disorder are too challenged and cannot build up a coherent ideology, usually an ignorant form of anarchy in which rules do not exist.

The "Spectrum of Severity"

Like Autism, Retardism is also a spectrum, although it only indicates the severity of the condition, there are four levels of intellectual deficiency: mild, moderate, severe and profound. The most common form of extreme stupidity disorder is the mildest level, with profound being the rarest. The more severe the disorder is, the more obvious the signs are. The level of maturity also varies depending on the severity.
