Mélenchonism refers to the thinking of the French politician Jean-Luc Mélenchon. Mélenchon admires 21st Century Socialism, Salvador Allende, the popular-republican-revolutionary French tradition (Robespierre and the Paris Commune), Marxism, Fidel Castro, the Swedish model; in general it supports democratic socialism, embedded in a participatory democracy, transforming itself in a reformist and non-violent way into a multi-party socialist state.

Foreign Policy

In foreign policy he sided against the war against Bashar al-Assad's Syria and the bombing of Libya at the time of Gaddafi, he also spoke out against the boycott of Nicolas Maduro's Chavist-Bolivarian Venezuela and European sanctions against Vladimir Putin's Russia.
