Astleyism is the ideology of the famous singer Rick Astley, who is most notable for his 1987 song "Never Gonna Give You Up". This song is associated with the internet meme of rickrolling, where in the music video for the aforementioned song is played unexpectedly, often via a bait-and-switch hyperlink that redirects to the video.

He behaves very similar to Rick Astley himself. He will always quote lines from Never Gonna Give You Up, and tries to rickroll people all the time, with... varying results
